Serena Shaw comes from a family of talented snowboarders. When your dad, your brother, and your best friend are the best of the best you push yourself to be even better. Shaw began snowboarding at the age of 4 in a pink one piece. With her brother, Spencer Shaw, and friend Lindsey Jacobellis, (Olympic silver medalist in Women’s Snowboard Cross, 2006) cheering her on, she has been able to progress as one of the most notable riders on the U.S. Revolution tour. In 2013, she won both slopestyle and halfpipe at the final stop of the U.S. Revolution Tour and took second at the United States of America Snowboard Association Nationals.
