Maggie Voisin grew up in Whitefish, Montana where she started off her ski career as a racer. After constant pressure from her twin brother to switch disciplines, she tried her hand at freeskiing — good thing she did, because the girl can rip.

At just 14 years old, Voisin has proven to be a slopestyle phenom. Her 2013 rookie season was massive and included a big win at the Association of Freeskiing Professionals World Championships in Whistler, B.C., Canada after throwing a huge switch left 900. Now the youngest skier on the U.S. Freeskiing Team, she lives and trains in Park City, Utah. For her incredible 2013 season, Voisin was named ESPN’s Rookie of the Year.

Stoked for the chance to contribute to the progression of the sport, Voisin is secretly working to perfect tricks never-before-thrown by a female in competition.

Although Voisin represented Team USA at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi; she was unable to compete due to an injury sustained during practice.
