“Chase Blackwell Snowboard Grom,” is the name of his full video part on YouTube that he put together at just 10 years of age; and it is likely better than anything you and your friends have created! But, that is what happens when you are raised in the mountains. Blackwell strapped into his first snowboard at the ripe age of three.

A native of Colorado, Blackwell has grown up with snowboard opportunity that most can only dream of. Claiming Breckenridge as his home resort, Blackwell has utilized the world class snowboard facilities in his own backyard to hone halfpipe, and slopestyle, skills that have a lot of people paying attention.

A regular on the U.S. Revolution Tour, Junior World Championships and World Rookie events -Blackwell won the 2017 halfpipe World Rookie Finals in Kitzsteinhorn, Austria- his foray into the elite level is well underway. With results stacking up in U.S. Grand Prix, FIS and U.S. Opens, keep an ear to the snow for Blackwell’s name because he is riding strong with his eyes on the podium.
