Sometimes referred to as the King of LA, Vincent Alvarez knows what true street skateboarding is all about. Be it time for a gnarly hill bomb or a man-sized handrail with rough run-up, Alvarez holds nothing back and seems to thrive in the roughest of skate environments day or night. Alvarez may not be your typical contest skater, but he does have credentials in the area. Well-remembered for his breakout appearance at the DC King of LA in 2007, he showed everyone what fast skating and raw style looked like when it was truly raised in the city streets. Then, back in 2008 Alvarez owned a couple of top-5 finishes as an amateur at events like Tampa Am where he finished fifth and Pheonix Am where he skated out in third overall. Since those days he has graduated to the pro ranks and has shown face in the big leagues, but he is still on the hunt for a big contest win. Ready to see footy of this high-speed animal?
