With no shortage of homeland inspiration, Mons Roisland hails from Norway the land of legendary snowboard heavies. In 2013 Roisland began to gain mainstream attention and momentum. Kicking off the year with a win at the Norwegian Cup Slopestyle event, two weeks later Roisland rounded out the Burton European Open with a third place finish behind fellow countrymen to make for the first-ever major event sweep by Norwegians. Still sharp on his edges, Roisland started out his 2016 year in similar podium fashion, but this time he was taking home third place at X Games Aspen. Extremely stylish in the air and not afraid to get tech with switch-up on rails, Roisland is just getting started with carving his name into snowboard history.
