Bent knees, arched back, and a variety of grabs to keep things fresh, Hans Mindnich oozes style on all fronts. Be it the backcountry or in the parks, Hans has proved himself to be one of the most inventive riders with an approach to be emulated. In 2013, Hans surprised the masses when he showed up to Snowboarder’s Superpark 17 as an unsponsored rider and ended up winning top honors with the Standout award. Hans’ part in the 2014 Snowboarder movie “Foreword” showcased everything he has to offer, and made him an easy choice to later win the 2015 Rookie of the Year award from Snowboarder. Though Hans has experience in competition (he took fourth at the 2012 Burton US Open), Hans’ career has been based more on attitude than results. Still, Hans’ ability to get creative on jibs and hold nothing back when hitting massive jumps makes him a major threat at any event.
