Upon graduating high school, Dylan Thomas left Pennsylvania and headed out to Breckenridge. A star soccer and baseball player in high school, Thomas was ready to dedicate himself to another sport: snowboarding.

At the first Olympic qualifier for slopestyle, held at Mammoth in February 2017, Thomas was one of the biggest surprises. His run was good enough to land him on the podium in third place, which suddenly put him on the radar as someone in contention for the U.S. Olympic team. This year he will make his Dew Tour debut as he pursues that quest.
