Carlsbad, California’s Brock Crouch has already been a U.S. team alternate for the World Junior Surfing Championships. Now he’s an up-and-comer in the world of snowboarding as well.

Coming off a successful season that saw him place inside the top ten at several major contests, including an eighth-place result in his first Dew Tour, Crouch has graduated from the U.S. rookie team to the pro team this year.

Should Crouch make the U.S. Olympic team and compete in PyeongChang, he’ll have reason for confidence: He won the slopestyle test event that took place there on the Olympic course in 2016.
