Bio:
Ever since he won the Gatorade Free Flow Tour in 2006, Mike Spinner has
been a known name on tour. That year, in his first pro contest, he
qualified first in prelims at the final Dew Tour stop. In his first two
full years on tour, he finished 2nd in the overall standings. On top of
being a consistent rider, Spinner is also one of the most innovative on
tour. On top of routinely putting 1080s in his runs, he was the first
ever rider to land a quadwhip in a comp. After missing the 2009 season
due to injury, the BMX community is looking forward to Spinner coming
back strong in 2010.

Q: On a scale of 1-10 how awesome is the movie Face-Off?

A: Face Off man I saw that movie back in the day. I’d say solid 7.5 lol

 

Q: If you were a Ballpark hot dog and you were hungry would you eat yourself?

A: I would only eat half so there would be half of me left

 

Q from @Ridertech: Where is your favorite place to ride?

A: lately it’s been Brian Piccolo Skatepark in South Florida soon to be my backyard tho http://twitpic.com/17l8yu

 

Q from @thedewtour: Summer tour locations are coming out soon. What’s been your favorite Dew Tour stop of all-time?

A: It’s between Portland OR I pulled first 1080 in the comp and won and Orlando its my home state!

 

Q: Today is the birthday of the artist formerly known as Lil Bow Wow. What’s your rap stage name?

A: DJ DR SPIN

 

Q from @bradlusky: How is your knee doing, and are you able to ride now?

A: Well the knee is real strong but from the surgery still bit sore after a session but I’m riding popping 720s everyday

 

Q from @jaredsouney: Have you ever high-fived a girl, and if so, why?

A: I Give high fives to everybody! (Ed. Note: High Fives are what made this country great)

 

Q: You don’t have a wikipedia page. What’s up with that? Who would be the best person to write one for you?

A: hmmm maybe I should look into that, I would say my buddy Shaun he’s pretty good at that stuff

 

Q from @skatebmx05: When you were younger what kept you motivated to ride your bike and learn new tricks

A: Hanging out w my friends all day at the skatepark we would just push each other for hrs but I always love to do my own thing

Q from @scottnords: How do you keep from getting dizzy when you spin like a top?

A: When I’m riding especially when I’m doing 720s or even a 1080 it’s all like slow motion.

 

Q from @degbert: What’s it like to be in the Olympics? I mean, what was it like to be in a commercial aired during the Olympics

A: I was so amped we shot that commercial 2 years ago & it was the biggest production ever just for the few seconds I was in it

 

Q from @gabeherndon: How many kids a week at the park ask you if you can do a backflip? Rough estimate.

A: All the skateparks I I go to around here They don’t ask me to flip they ask me to flair ha ha ha

 

Q from @austincoleman: What’s your biggest regret in BMX in the last couple years?

A: No regrets just looking forward 2010 that’s what it’s all about! O wait my regret is not moving into @austincoleman‘s place

A: As I’m real into watching tons of sports I couldn’t really say I have no idea
