TEN Appoints Dew Tour 2016 Management Team

New Team Has Deep Action Sports Media & Event Experience to Take Dew Tour to the Next Level

TEN: The Enthusiast Network is pleased to announce the appointment of a new management team to lead the strategy and execution of Dew Tour. The dynamic and experienced crew who will spearhead this ambitious effort includes: Adam Cozens as Vice President and General Manager, Anthony Dittmann as Operations Director, Jessica Gray as Event Operations Manager, Courtney Gresik as the Business and Sponsorship Manager and Gerhard Gross as Content Director.

“We’ve assembled a true ‘A’ team that has the capabilities and know-how to deliver on our vision to create the most innovative and progressive experiential action sports brand and event series in the world,” said Norb Garrett, Executive Vice President and General Manager of TEN’s (The Enthusiast Network’s) Sports & Entertainment Group. “We’ve reimagined the Dew Tour, and through this combination of endemic action sports industry veterans and experienced event management professionals, I’m confident we’ll elevate this legendary brand and these amazing sports and lifestyles to new heights.”

A 12-year veteran of TRANSWORLD/TEN, most recently as Senior Marketing Director, Adam Cozens formerly led all marketing efforts for the media brands within TEN’s Sports & Entertainment division. He also played a vital role in brand and business development, strategic partnerships, and custom integrated programs for clients across TEN’s brand portfolio. As newly appointed VP/GM, Cozens will oversee the strategy and execution, daily operations and sales efforts for Dew Tour.

“I’m humbled by the opportunity to build the Dew Tour franchise with support from Mountain Dew, the TEN team and our partners,” said Cozens. “Our collective vision to grow this brand, and have it resonate year-round with action sports fans and athletes through authentic content and events, is exciting for this industry and the brands within it.”

Newly appointed Operations Director Anthony Dittmann comes with extensive action sports event experience. Previously he served as Senior Director of Operations for Dew Tour under NBC’s management of the event and prior to that spent 15 years at ESPN, first in logistics and culminating as Director of Operations and Event Director for X Games (Aspen, Los Angeles, Barcelona and Tignes, France). As Operations Director, Dittman will be responsible for the overall execution of the onsite event including site plans and master scheduling.

Event Operations Manager Jessica Gray also comes on board at TEN with previous Dew Tour experience having served as Senior Associate, Event Operations for Dew Tour under Alli Sports. As Events Operations Manager, Gray will assist with all planning and execution of events, with a focus on venue operations and operations services.

A veteran of TRANSWORLD/TEN, Courtney Gresik joins Dew Tour team as the Business and Sponsorship Manager. Working in action sports for 10 years, she most recently served as Business Manager for the Sports & Entertainment division of TEN in Carlsbad, California, where she worked with all facets of the business across all media brands. Her experience also includes serving as Finance Manager for the World Surf League in Santa Monica. As one of the early hires to the WSL team, she helped implement the new business model of in-house large-scale event production and broadcast. As Business and Sponsorship Manager, Gresik will serve as the senior liaison for all Dew Tour partnerships as well as provide strategic management of the business.

Gerhard Gross brings 15-years industry experience to his role as Dew Tour Content Director. From riding for K2 Snowboards and WESC during the mid-2000s to co-founding a snowboard media company in Whistler, BC, and serving as the first team manager for DC, Quiksilver and Roxy Canada, Gross has worked in many fields of the action sports landscape. Most recently, he was the Director of the Protect Our Winters Riders Alliance and Managing Editor at TRANSWORLD SNOWBOARDING where he helped lead the print and digital editorial teams. As Content Director, Gross will oversee 365 delivery of Dew Tour digital, social, event and special project content.

Dates, locations, redesigned formats and course designs, content approaches and more will soon be announced with a focus on fully engaging fans, athletes and the action sports industry.
