Tech Deck and Dew Tour have teamed up to bring you a stay-at-home fingerboard competition to showcase your skills and win some serious prizes, all while staying within the comfort of your own home. Beginning April 15th we’ll put out an open call for qualifiers and begin to narrow down submissions to the top 16 for a full head-to-head bracket, all decided by an all-star judging panel including Torey Pudwill, TJ Rodgers, Chris Ortiz, and Andrew Durso. Each clip will be judged on trick execution, trick difficulty, trick variety, continuity of the line, originality and style, and finally, creative use of features in the home.
Advancing competitors at the end of qualifying and bracketed rounds will be announced on Dew Tour’s Instagram account and Tech Deck’s Instagram account. Competitors selected by the judging panel to advance forward from each round will be notified of their advancement via direct message prior to official public announcement on Dew Tour and Tech Deck Instagram accounts.
For each round of the head-to-head bracketed competition portion of the contest, competitors will be given a specific area of their home in which their line must be captured. The specific area of the home for each following round will be announced in conjunction with winner notifications and announcements. We’ll crown a first, second, and third-place winner, who will take home some hefty prize packs, along with bragging rights.
To Enter:
- Film your greatest line anywhere within your home, keeping the video to :15 seconds maximum.
- Upload your clip to your public Instagram account and tag @dewtour, @techdeck, and use the hashtag #techdeckdetour.
- Enter as many times as you’d like before 11:59 pm Pacific Time on April 15th.
- Following the open qualifiers, the top 16 competitors selected for the bracketed head-to-head competition will be announced on Dew Tour’s Instagram account and reposted on Tech Deck’s Instagram account.

Can anyone enter?
This contest is open to residents of the US and Canada, excluding Quebec, and as long as you are at least 13 years of age.
Do I need to use a Tech Deck brand fingerboard to enter?
No – any brand may be utilized.
Can I use more than two fingers to perform a trick?
No – only two fingers are allowed.
How many times can I enter?
As many as you’d like, as long as each post is tagged on a public Instagram account before the deadline of 11:59 pm PST on April 15.
How will I know if I’ve been selected to move on to the bracketed competition?
You’ll be tagged in an official announcement post and DM’d directly if you’ve been selected for the top 16. More instructions will be provided at that time.
