Skate Street Prelims Results | Milton Martinez in the Lead

Street skaters battled it out today to qualify for semi-finals at the first contest to be held on the Dew Tour’s San Francisco-inspired street course.  Milton Martinez tore up the course throughout his heat, landing a sequence that included a backside ollie over the hip into a frontside kickflip over the bench, keeping enough speed for a boardslide to fakie on the large bar off the DIY bank.  Martinez made use of all the features to take the top spot over Zered Bassett and Kelvin Hoefler, who finished in second and third, respectively.  The top 20 finishers will move on to semifinals tomorrow afternoon.
