Aspen Spora was the biggest little man we saw all day. When we saw him dressed exactly like his favorite skier, Simon Dumont (who was standing nearby), we pulled these two together for an impromptu photo op. Hey buddy! Aspen (oh, geez, what a great name for a skier!) was really something. The 8-year-old second-grader has been skiing since he was two, and he looks you in the eye like an adult who’s telling you the score. As a member of the Northstar-at-Tahoe ski team, li’l dude also rips. “The team and my coach, Jordan, help me learn stuff if I want to learn it,” he said. When asked what he’s working on, Aspen kinda shrugged. “540s. Switch 5s. 270’s off the up-flat.”
