Shaun White Returns To Skateboarding at the Dew Tour

This just in! Everyone’s favorite redhead will be dropping into the vert ramp at the Dew Tour’s first stop of the 2010 season. Kicking off the Tour, Boston’s Skate Open, ISF Skateboarding World Championships will feature Shaun White fresh off his gold medal-winning run at the Vancouver Olympics…and tickets are on sale now.

With two Olympic gold medals already in his display case, White is switching his focus back to skateboarding for the summer, making his debut at the Skate Open. And with a skate vert Dew Cup and a few more X Games medals to his credit, it’s clear that White’s return to skateboarding will have the likes of PLG and Bucky Lasek on notice.
Aside from White (like you needed more), Lasek, PLG, Andy Mac, Alex Perelson and Bob Burnquist will all be competing at Boston’s TD Garden, June 25-26.

On the skate park side of things, three-time Dew Cup champ Ryan Sheckler, Paul Rodriguez, Chaz Ortiz and Greg Lutzka will all be vying for both the Skate Open and ISF Skateboarding World Champion titles.

If you’re in the Boston area (or just REALLY want to see White in his first competition back on a skateboard), tickets for the Skate Open at TD Garden are on sale now, and you can get them here. So do it! Now!
