Ryan Sheckler’s Skate For A Cause Make-A-Wish Benefit

Ryan Sheckler had his friends come out and ‘Skate for a Cause’ at his inaugural charity event benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Sheckler and other top professional skateboarders including Sean Malto, Greg Lutzka, Ryan Decenzo, Darrell Stanton, Kurtis Colamonico, and Fabrizio Santos battled in three best trick contests at the Etnies Skatepark in Lake Forest.

Besides the best trick contest, the skaters hung out and signed autographs for a few hundred fans all in support of Make-A-Wish. Donating their prize money, Sheckler won the Nixon spine/barrier obstacle, Sean Malto took the Rail/Stairs set up while Greg Lutzka was tops for the Tech section.

Danny Way was in attendance and could not resist blasting a few airs on the quarter pipe for the crowd. Sheckler even spent time in the dunk tank where for a donation you could see if you could make him go for a swim. It was a great event for a great cause and thanks to everyone who came out in support.
