Picture This: Marcus Tooker

Picture This is an Alli feature designed to give you a peek into the lives of today’s top action sports athletes. For this installment, we sent BMXer Marcus Tooker a random list of things to take pictures of with his camera and here’s what he sent back, complete with his thoughts on each shot:

A picture of where you live: This is the road I grew up on. There used to be an old dirt quarterpipe down the road where we would learn abubacas.

A picture with family or friends: (Before) What can you say? Getting ready for a family photo with the roommates. (After) I have this one hanging over the mantel when people walk in. We never did put pants on.

collection

One of your collections: Dew Tour credentials and whatnot. I’ve saved all of them, I don’t know why.

meal

Your favorite restaurant: This was “our spot” in high school. THE place to go for tacos on the Cape.

meal

A meal you ate that day: A chicken BBQ, Tooker-family style. My dad cooks this many at once. There’s actually another grill that goes on top, and you flip them like you’re doing an x-up.

electronic gadget

A room in your house: My messy desk that I sit at every morning and answers emails.

random

Any random photo: Halloween in Greenville is no joke.

backyard

The contents of your backpack: Everything to ride with, plus my “Tookumentary” in the corner, where I chronicle all of my roadtrips.

pet

A picture of your pet: The two ladies in my life, Jaclyn and Zox.

random

A(nother) random photo: Christmas in July. My buddy, Malcolm, decided to ride around town as Santa.

kid

Picture of you as a kid: This is where my love of food began. I love food like a fat kid loves cake.

kid

More childhood memories: My first bike. The Batman bike with matching Batman shirt.

random

Still another random photo: Cook’s Cove in New Zealand. My favorite photo I’ve ever taken on my favorite trip.
