Paper Tongues and Neon Trees Rock Portland

Day two of the Wendy’s Invitational came to a close Friday night with another killer performance by co-headliners Paper Tongues and Neon Trees.  

Paper Tongues started the night off with a killer 45-minute set highlighted by the nasty gem “Ride to California” and current radio stalwart “Trinity.”

The loyal Portland crowd was then given the new alt rock gift known as Neon Trees for a seamless 60-minute rif. All was flowing well until on their very last song when the power abruptly went out! 

But that didn’t stop the Provo, Utah natives as they came back out on stage and finished off their triumphant set. Rip City was given a treat with two up-and-coming bands who fuse rock melodies with hip hop beats, giving the crowd the perfect close to another perfect Dew Tour day.
