The one thing about the Dew Tour, is that you can’t walk a few feet without running into another of your favorite Pros. Seriously — you’re walking to get a Mountain Dew and BAM Luke Parslow or Daniel Dhers walks around the corner. So, throughout the summer, we’ll be grabbing whoever we meet and asking them a quick q or two about riding, Dew Tour, and whatever else comes to mind. First up, Ryan Nyquist, Big Daddy, Daniel Dhers and Chad Kagy.

Big Daddy a.k.a. Pat Laughlin

How did you get the nickname Big Daddy?
I have big rims, big women, big tvs—I have big everything.

How is it to have your own trick?
It makes it diverse and diabolical. It’s not the only trick I have, I have tricks that stop the rotation of the Earth.

Who are your favorite pros to hang out with?
Scotty Cranmer, Ryan Nyquinch, and Daniel Dhers.

Ryan Nyquist

What is your favorite event to compete in?
It’s too hard to pick between Park and Dirt, I like them both the same.

What is your favorite part of the tour?
Hanging out with all of my friends,

What hobbies do you have besides BMX?
I’m a new father, so when I’m not biking I am taking care of my baby.

How do you like it when “Big Daddy” calls you Nyquinch?
I get a kick out of it.

Daniel Dhers

What is your favorite thing about Chicago?
The views of the city are amazing.

What do you like best about the Dew Tour?
Just riding around and having fun with all of my friends.

Who is your favorite rider to watch?
Definitely Dave Mirra.

Chad Kagy

Why do you like riding Vert?
Because you go fast and high, and everyone else is afraid to do it.

What makes a good Vert ramp?
It just has to be super smooth and fast.

What is your favorite part about the Dew Tour?
I enjoy just getting all of the atheletes together and having a good time with them.

What is your favoite thing about Chicago?
Chicago is just way more different than all of the other cities that the Dew Tour has been in.
