No Slopestyle Final at Burton European Open, Torstein Horgmo Takes All

Torstein Horgmo came to play this week at the Burton European Open at Switzerland’s Laax resort as part of the World Snowboarding Tour, but the weather played a factor and forced the finals to be nixed. Without a final, the decision was to award the riders from semi-final, which meant Torstein’s semi-final run won him the big bucks and because the women were scheduled to have both semi and final in one day the prize purse was divided equally amoung the invited athletes. Tomorrow’s halfpipe finals are still scheduled to go, so check out the live stream online at redbull.tv.
