Nick Goepper, Tiril Sjastad Christiansen Take First in Freeski Slopestyle Events

The Freeski Slopestyle events took place yesterday as part of the final day at X Games Aspen 2013, and both the men and women put on an amazing display of talent up to the final moments. For the men’s discipline it was Nick Goepper that reigned supreme on the course killing it from start to finish to score a 94.00 and takes home the gold. During the women’s event it was the unsuspected athlete from Norway, Tiril Sjastad Christiansen, that came out on point for her final two runs and was able to upset Kaya Turski all while becoming the youngest gold medalist in the discipline’s history. Check out both Geopper’s and Christainsen’s winning runs below.
