My Five: Freeski Crew 5

My Five is an Alli feature where we ask the same five questions to five different athletes and compile all the crazy answers for your reading pleasure. For this installment, we talked to freeskiers Justin Dorey, Andreas Hatveit, Matt Duhamel, Duncan Adams and TJ Schiller.

Question 1: What’s something you’re proud of?

Justin Dorey: My ping pong skills

Andreas Hatveit: My beautiful wife =)

Matt Duhamel: Just life in general. Oh, and I can juggle four balls at the same time.

Duncan Adams: I don’t dig pride

TJ Schiller: Making it to where I am today – being able travel the world, ski everyday and compete and ski with guys I looked up to as a kid.

Question 2: What’s something you would never eat?

Justin Dorey: Garbage

Andreas Hatveit: Sushi

Matt Duhamel: An apple – that’s just not my style

Duncan Adams: Burning lava

TJ Schiller: Horse sashimi – I ate it once and it was great, but now that I know what it was, I don’t think I could eat it again

Question 3: What’s your favorite video game?

Justin Dorey: Either Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Genesis or Super Mario Bros. for Super Nintendo

Andreas Hatveit: COD Modern Warfare 2

Matt Duhamel: Either Fifa 2010 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Duncan Adams: Pokemon for Gameboy Color, the only video game I ever owned

TJ Schiller: Tetris on my iPhone

Question 4: For pipe rider: What’s your go to trick in the park?/For slope rider: What’s your go to trick in the pipe?

Justin Dorey (pipe rider): Straight airs

Andreas Hatveit (slope rider): I’m not all that great in pipe, so I’ll have to say a switch 7

Matt Duhamel (pipe rider): Rodeo 540

Duncan Adams (pipe rider): Switch 3, the most fun

TJ Schiller (slope rider): Cork 9

Question 5: Photo shoot or video shoot?

Justin Dorey: Video

Andreas Hatveit: Just depends on the filmer or photographer, but I’ll go for photo.

Matt Duhamel: Well, I haven’t really filmed much of anything, so I don’t really have an opinion on that. I guess I’d have to say photo shoot in that case.

Duncan Adams: Video, it feels more natural to shoot something in its entirety rather than just a single moment. Photos are righteous too though.

TJ Schiller: Both at the same time!
