Louie Vito Makes His Debut On Dancing With The Stars

Louie Vito, a well known professional snowboarder, has turned in his snowboard for dancing shoes. With little dance experience, he still manages to impress the judges with his fox trot.

The show pairs celebrities with professional ballroom dancers, who each week compete by performing a selected dance, which they are then scored on by a panel of judges. Viewers are given a certain amount of time to place votes on their favorite dancers. The couple with the lowest combined score is eliminated and does not go on to the next week. This process continues until there are only two or three couples left, at which point one couple is declared the champion.

For its ninth season, Louie was selected as one of the celebrity athletes to compete. In addition to training for the show, he is also training for the upcoming winter sports season, which includes the Winter Dew Tour.
