Joss Christensen Continues to Dominate in Freeski Slope Prelims, Devin Logan Leads the Women

With an effortless style that impressed the judges, Devin Logan of Dover, Vt. finished at the top of the leader board in the women’s freeski slopestyle prelims with a score of 91.67. Canadians Kim Lamarre and Kaya Turski followed behind with second and third place finishes with scores of 90.83 and 90.17, respectively.

The top five finishers will advance to Sunday’s Women’s Freeski Slopestyle Finals joining Ashley Battersby.

In the men’s field, after leading the Last Chance Qualifiers, local athlete Joss Christensen of Park City, Utah stomped the competition, finishing with a score of 91.83. Defending Dew Cup champion in freeski superpipe Jossi Wells of New Zealand, finished second with an 86.50 and Australia’s Russ Henshaw followed close behind in third with an 86.00.

The top ten finishers will advance to Sunday’s Men’s Freeski Slopestyle Finals joining Bobby Brown and Elias Ambuhl who are first and second respectively in the Dew Cup standings.
