Jamie Anderson Places First in Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle Semi-Final

The first women’s snowboard event of the Dew Tour iON Mountain Championships was the slopestyle discipline – which has proved in past years to be one of high competition that only increased this year to showcase the skills of the best ladies in class on this enhanced course.

The women’s semi-final consisted of thirteen athletes, one of whom earned her spot by winning a Free Flow Tour contest, that are each allotted two runs with the highest score counting. The top six riders moved on to compete in finals tomorrow.

Jamie Anderson came out hot with her first run on the course and linked an insane run together in order to stomp a score of 94.25 leaving her in the number one spot going into tomorrow’s final.Anderson threw down solid tricks in her first run such as a switch back 540, a back 180 and Cab 540.

Pulling out the second place spot in the semi-final was Silvia Mittermueller scoring a 93.00 with Enni Rukajarvi right behind her with a 92.00 – great riding all around.

The stacked 10-woman final promises to be nothing short of impressive.
