From firecracker tricks on the stairs of the Streetstyle course to actual fireworks for the finale, Dew Tour’s new home at Copper Mountain was the place to be on Saturday night. Light, fluffy snowflakes and the supermoon looming large set the scene, while a DJ set from electronic music stars Phantogram served as the night’s headline attraction.

Fans at the Center Village base area had front row seats for the Streetstyle Finals under the lights to start the party off, where they got to watch Alex Hall win the Men’s Ski Streetstyle Final just one night after his Skier of the Year win at the inaugural Newschoolers Awards, and see Johanne Killi – the 2017 Dew Tour Slopestyle champion – take her first Women’s Ski Streetstyle win. Miles Fallon’s win in the Men’s Snowboard Streetstyle rounded out an incredible year that began with his Quiksilver Young Guns win in February 2019, and Maria Thomsen claimed her first Dew Tour win in Women’s Snowboard Streetstyle.

Josh Carter and Sarah Bartel of Phantogram provided the soundtrack for the rest of the night’s free all-ages dance party, with a DJ set from the Dew Tour Stage. The duo’s new album “Ceremony” is out next month on March 6 and “Pedestal” – the first single – was released on Friday. Guests with VIP passes got to survey the scene from a special rooftop viewing deck and lounge above the famed Downhill Dukes bar, while all Dew Tour fans and athletes were treated to a fireworks display to close out the night.
