Fandemonium in Dew Tour’s Festival Village

Part of the beauty of the Dew Tour is that fans have a million chances to see the athletes up close and personal. Because of this, girls were lining up hours before the gate even opened to be one of the lucky few that got to meet Ryan Sheckler face-to-face yesteday. Moms were handing over their babies to have their onesies signed, kids were pulling off their shoes and handing them over and, of course, the cameras were snapping it all up for pictures that will probably line the walls of bedrooms for years.

Besides Sheckler, Bob Burnquist, Adam Taylor, Chaz Ortiz and P-Rod were all out and about in the Dew Tour’s Festival Village and willing to chat and sign autographs for their fans.

Fans Lining Up

Whether it’s getting autographs on the edge of the course while riders are practicing or cornering them when they’re done competing for “just one more!” there are plenty of opportunities to snag the signature of your favorite skater. And then there’s the times when you’re actually able to meet them face-to-face, take a picture and have them sign your shoe, your poster or even your body.

While fans may have dashed to be the first ones in line, once they got their chance to meet all the Dew Tour athletes, it was well worth the wait.
