Eric Willett set the bar high in his first run of the snowboard slope Semi-Final today at the Dew Tour’s Pantech Invitational. Willett’s score of 92.67 distanced him from the field of 30 riders at Killington Resort in Vermont. The wind did nothing to hold back the snowboarders taking to the slopestyle course. Willett rose to the occasion with a run that began with a frontside 270 onto the first rail, gap frontside lip 270 out, to a 50-50 backside 180 out, finishing with a switch back 900, switch back 720 and a front 10 double cork, giving him a score of 92.67.  Staale Sandbech (89.50) and Aleksander Ostreng (88.67) rounded out the top three.  The top 9 will compete in the finals tomorrow against Gjermund Braaten, Sebastien Toutant and Charles Reid.
