Dew Tour Game of S.K.A.T.E. coming to Santa Monica July 18

With Dew Tour LA just a few short weeks away, we’re bringing an early dose of skateboarding to the area with a Game of S.K.A.T.E. this Saturday, July 18th in Santa Monica.

The contest, which kicks off at noon PT, will be held at Santa Monica Place, just steps away from the brand-new Verizon Destination Store on Third Street Promenade, as part of the store’s grand opening celebration and will feature a field of skaters that includes Mountain Dew athletes Nick Tucker and Boo Johnson, as well as Dew Tour regulars Ryan Decenzo and Manny Santiago.

Afterwards, fans will have the opportunity to meet Nick Tucker and Boo Johnson, as they will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans at the Verizon Destination Store.

While there, you can also enter to win a Sony Xperia Z3v smartphone and check out all the other festivities happening.

The comp is just a precursor to what’s coming when Dew Tour LA kicks off on August 13th at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. The weekend of August 13-16 will include skateboard street, streetstyle and vert contests, as well as the world premiere of “We Are Blood,” the highly-anticipated skate film from Mountain Dew Green Label Films and Brain Farm.
