Danny Davis Makes More History

Danny Davis Makes More History

A few weeks ago Danny Davis made Dew Tour history by scoring the highest score ever in a Superpipe Final. Yesterday Danny continued to build on the momentum he started in Breckenridge and had what many might say was the best pipe run ever. This was not just any contest, but the first of 2 Grand Prix’s Halfpipe contest in Mammoth Lakes, which are also qualifiers for the US Olympic team, to be named on January 24th in Park City Utah.

Danny threw down two phenomenal runs. The first scoring a 47.2 and last scoring an unheard of 49.2 with not one but three double corks as he went head to head with Shawn White for top spot of the Podium.

Good Vibes for the seriously injured Kevin Pearce were flowing heavily with signs and stickers on riders boards sending well wishes. Danny dedicated/credited his insane run to his spiritual connection with Kevin, who is part of the tight-knit Frends Crew.

The energy must have made its way back to Pearce where doctors at the University of Utah Hospital were able to remove his breathing tube as he slowly begins to regain consciousness and is able to now follow commands. It certainly was an epic day in snowboarding all the way around.

Well Wishes to our Frend Kevin Pearce.
