Chris Cole Wins Street League Skateboarding Super Crown

The Street League Skateboarding (SLS) season for 2013 has officially come to a close, but not without one final arena-style showdown. 2013 has been a big year for SLS starting with it’s inclusion into X Games acting as the official street competition that allowed SLS to go around the world. However, not every SLS event was part of X Games. Three of the seven stops were SLS only events and this past weekend’s Super Crown in New Jersey marked the final event of the SLS season. In the end it was East Coast native Chris “Cobra” Cole that skated to the top of the ranks despite amazing showings from Nyjah Huston, Luan Oliveira and, of course, Paul Rodriguez with his superior switch arsenal. Check out the results and Cole’s video highlights meshed with his winner’s interview below! For more information and photos from the event check out the recap article on SLS.
