Charlotte Van Gils Leads Way To Women’s Snowboard Slope Finals

Amsterdam native, Charlotte Van Gils enjoyed the third straight day of bluebird conditions in Breckenridge at the Dew Tour Nike Open, topping the competition in women’s snowboard slopestyle semi-finals on Saturday. Van Gils scored a 90.50 on a run starting off with a 50-50, frontside 270 to front boardslide, cab 500, frontside 700, front boardslide to fakie, 50-50 tail, finishing with backside 360 and frontside 360. She held off Enni Rukajarvi, 89.33, and Sarka Pancochova, 86.67, who finished second and third respectively. Five will advance for a chance to bank the first win in women’s slope of the season in finals on Sunday.
