Beyond the Competitions in Salt Lake City

The Dew Tour is taking over Salt Lake City in more ways than one this weekend, combining parties, concerts, discounts and some of the best competitions of the season into a full weekend of festivities. And while the Toyota Challenge is definitely the can’t-miss event of the four-day stint, there’s plenty of other action outside of the EnergySolutions Arena to keep you busy. Wednesday, September 15

deeperO’Neill presents Jeremy Jones’ Deeper. A Backcountry Snowboarding Adventure film in HD by TGR.
7pm and 9pm at Brewvies (677 South 200 West)
Meet the featured athletes and be a part of tons of giveaways, including Dew Tour tickets and Snowbird lift passes. Official Deeper after party and Dew Tour kick off at Bar Deluxe (off State St.) featuring DJ Knucklz. Must be 21+ to attend.

Thursday, September 16

Dew Tour Official After Party

Live performance by Rakaa of Dilated Peoples. Show Dew Tour ticket stub and receive FREE cover before 11pm.

Friday, September 17

Neon Trees and Paper Tongues Concert (Part of the Dew Tour Toyota Challenge event)
9pm Outside EnergySolutions Arena
Friday tickets start at only $15 and are valid for all competitions that day (Skate Vert prelims, BMX Park Prelims, FMX Open Qualifiers, BMX Vert Finals), as well as entry to this concert. Fun Fact: Neon Trees is from Provo, Utah and the members attended BYU

Saturday, September 18

Student Discount Day
Taking place exclusively on Saturday, Sept. 18, the Dew Tour is hosting “Student Discount Day” on Saturday, Sept 18 onsite at the Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge.  Students of all ages can show thestudent discount dayir current student IDs at the EnergySolutions Arena Box Office and receive the following ticket discounts: $12 Ground Pass tickets ($3 savings), $30 Reserved tickets ($5 savings) and $90 Action Zone Passes ($10 savings). *One ticket per ID and not valued with any other promotion.

Alli Shop, home to all your favorite brands and latest gear, located within the event’s Festival Village is also celebrating Student Discount Day.  By showing a student ID, one will receive a FREE pair of Alli Shop sunglasses with a $25 or more purchase, as well as a FREE Alli hoodie with a purchase of any Ogio backpack.  Also, Alli Shop will be hosting a special autograph signing with Ogio BMX Team Riders, Brandon Dosch and Andrew Buckworth on Saturday from 4:30 – 5pm.
