Alex Midler’s Roll-A-Thon for JohnnyKicksCancer This Weekend

This Saturday Alex Midler will be hosting the second annual Roll-A-Thon to benefit the JohnnyKicksCancer Foundation! Last year the Roll-A-Thon raised $5,000 and this year Midler is hoping to up the ante to $7,500 with all proceeds going directly to the JohnnyKicksCancer Foundation to help cure childhood leukemia. Starting at 1p.m. at the Venice Beach skatepark, Midler will lead a horde of skateboarders around a 9.6 mile roll (open to skateboards, bikes, scooters or anything with wheels) that will lead all the way up to and under the Santa Monica Pier before heading back to the Venice Beach skatepark. If you are in the area please come out and show your support by rolling with Midler and crew, and be sure to wear something RED – it was Johnny’s favorite color.
