Dew Tour is making it’s way back to Portland, this year bringing the Toyota City Championships to downtown. Get ready, the best in BMX and skate will be ripping down Broadway Street on an all-new streetstyle course, throwing down on the dirt for a BMX Dirt Session and dropping hammers for the Skate Best Trick contest.

You can watch the action live at DewTour.com/LIVE; but why stay at home? Come out and see the iconic event LIVE! If you are in the area — or even if you’re not — making the trip out to Portland for the Toyota City Championships will be worth it!

Here are the Top Ten reasons why:

9. Heavy hitters like Ryan Nyquist, Pat Casey and defending champion Kyle Baldock are coming to Portland to battle it out in a BMX Dirt Session. 8. Bangers and beats! While you’re out there watching the aforementioned BMX Dirt Session you can jam out to the sounds of New York funk, live electronic group Exmag. They’ll be blasting beats right along the dirt jumps for an action-packed session.

7. Ever been told not to sit on the hood of the car? Well, we don’t really want the athletes to sit on cars either…we let them ride on them! Check out the BMX and skateboarding streetstyle course, where the pros will trick off Toyota’s finest cars and trucks. See how innovative they get during the finals on Sunday! BMX Streetstyle goes off at 12pm and Skate Streestyle closes out the weekend with a bang at 4pm!

6. We’re sectioning off an exclusive section of the streetstyle course to let the skaters session and lay down their finest in a Skate Best Trick contest. Look out for the likes of Garrett HillJordan HoffartManny Santiago and more!

5. Skate streetstyle champion Ryan Sheckler is undefeated. Come out and witness history as the defending champ tries to defend his title against up-and-comer Curren Caples, local favorite David Gravette and more. Be there in the person to watch history happen as Sheckler goes for his third consecutive win!

4. Hot Dew Tour merchandise. Sure, you could order a sick hat or T-shirt online at DewTour.com/Shop but there’s nothing like picking up a fresh kit the day of the action. Gear up, we’re bringing T-shirts, hoodies, hats and even Dew Tour skate decks to Portland.

3. You will be the first of all your friends to see who wins, making you the first person to Tweet or Instagram the winner! Tag @DewTour and we might even Like your photo!

2. The chance to high-five your heroes!  When your favorite athletes are not out there throwing down, they’ll be wandering around and watching the other events just like you!

1. The entire weekend is FREE! Where else can you meet your favorite pros AND see a competition for free? That should be enough convincing for anyone!
