The mission, to provide the path for others that didn't exist for her. Amy Purdy co-founded Adaptive Action Sports with her husband in 2005 and has been changing people’s lives ever since. Providing inspiration and a platform for competition to adaptive athletes around the world has become a huge part of Purdy's life, and she does it all with hopes to simply share what she loves with others. Get a glimpse of the platform Purdy has helped create to change the lives of people, and hear her explain how sharing her love for snowboarding has become a passion of its own.

At the age of 19, Amy Purdy underwent a life-altering experience that would forever change her life, as she knew it. Loosing both legs below the knee makes snowboarding ever again seem impossible, but Amy challenged her circumstance and attained goals never before perceived. Now, the bronze medal Paralympian, Amazing Race participant, and Dancing with the Stars contestant continues to defy odds and has since shared her passion for snowboarding with other disabled riders through the organization she founded, Adaptive Action Sports.
