Ski and snowboarding fans at Breckenridge this week won’t want to miss the Dew Tour Experience at the Peak 8 base area for interactive art, custom gear, and autographs sessions with top pros including Hailey Langland, Louie Vito, Elena Hight, and 2018 PyeongChang Olympics halfpipe gold medalist Chloe Kim.

Start at the Toyota tent for cookies and hot cocoa and other giveaways, including Prius “Get A Grip” stomp pads and 4Runner gaiter swag. Show your Toyota car keys to receive an additional special gift. Hailey Langland will be signing autographs there on Thursday; Elena Hight will be the featured athlete on Saturday at noon, followed by Louie Vito and Chloe Kim on Saturday at 3 p.m.

“Dew Tour is always an amazing opportunity to come out and meet everybody,” says Hight. Best known for her prowess in the halfpipe – she was the first person, male or female, to land a backside alley-oop double rodeo in the pipe – Hight explored entirely new horizons in 2018 as a co-star of the Teton Gravity Research film Ode to Muir, splitboarding in California’s famed Sierra Nevada backcountry with backcountry snowboarding boundary-pusher Jeremy Jones. Jones will receive the career-spanning Luminary Award on Friday night at the 20th annual TransWorld Riders Poll Awards, presented at Riverwalk Center in downtown Breckenridge.

After the autograph sessions, be sure to stop by the Dew Custom Gear pavilion, where 2018 Dew Tour artist-in-residence Luke Pelletier is offering custom hat designs and posters, and is also presenting a gallery of life-size creations perfect for getting your #DOTHEDEW social media selfies.

There are even more giveaways at the Stanley Tools interactive art display, where So-Gnar Creative Division street artists including former pro snowboarder Pat Milbery are live painting a mural all weekend across five snowboards that will be given away in a trivia contest on Sunday.

“We’re painting this 8-foot by 6-foot wall as a three-artist collab between myself, Lowkey_Creartive, and Lee New, providing some live, interactive art throughout the weekend” says Milbery. The trio literally lit things off on Thursday with a spraypaint blowtorch celebration before beginning their work together.

And, of course, don’t forget to gear up with all your Dew Tour merch, also in the Dew Tour Experience zone at Breck’s Peak 8 base area.
