Shaun White Injured Again in Training Crash

Shaun is always pushing the limits.

It’s well know that Shaun White is hungry to redeem himself after a fourth place finish in halfpipe at the Sochi Olympics that he says he’s never gotten over. So it seems he’s been pushing himself hard in training lately as he again crashed in Cardrona New Zealand, this time opening up a gash on his forehead. “I’ve always lived my life by pushing the limits,” White said on Instagram. “Winning is great, but it’s the tough times that truly define you. I took a slam while training the other day, but don’t worry I’ll be back soon and better than ever!!”

We can only hope this means that Shaun is working on some new innovative trick to unleash on the competitive scene.

White is expected to compete at Dew Tour Breckenridge this December 14 – 17, where he will earn valuable points towards making the U.S. Olympic team heading PyeonChang in 2018.
