After breaking five pairs of race skis in one season while trying to hit rails, former alpine racer Evan McEachran hung up the long sticks for a pair of park skis. The move ended up paying off for the young Ontarian, as it would only be a couple of years before the park, pipe, and big air triple threat found himself atop the AFP Championships slopestyle podium before graduating high school. In the same year the relative unknown continued to become anything but by winning 2014 The North Face Open. While the competition podiums have slowed down over the past two season, McEachran stunned the park skiing community with an unprecedented win in the first-ever SLVSH Cup in Australia, defeating some of the sport’s most legendary skiers in the head-to-head park competition. With a dizzying array of rail variations and spins, McEachran is built for the Dew Tour’s new age of slopestyle skiing.
