Davis Torgerson is one seriously well-rounded street skater. His skills are smooth no matter how rough the spot is. He brings lofty snaps to the tallest of rails and often over them into the steepest of banks. Mix in his interest for some crust DIY tranny spots and you have it all in one neat and relaxed package. Did we mention his control? Davis ‘Knows Control’, and we are not just talking about his Thunder Trucks. We’re talking about the back Smith grinds he holds down with them. He also likes to golf, a sport based entirely on control and not typical of your favorite skaters. In 2014 Davis turned pro for REAL Skateboards and has been steady pushing on his skateboard ever since. With showings in everything from Tampa Pro to Street League as well as in the streets stacking footage, Davis is proving there is nothing he can’t step to. He is also loyal. There is something about those skateboarders from Minnesota, they seem to put out incredible parts for their home skateshops. We can’t imagine why… It definitely doesn’t have anything to do with the frigid temperatures they have to battle most of the year that are offset by epic indoor playgrounds provided by their local shops. Okay, maybe it makes sense. Regardless of why or how, Davis is seriously talented and you can witness it in any video part he has put out—especially his part for Familia Skateshop.
