Chris Joslin set the skateboarding world on fire when Plan B’s video, True showed him 360 flipping the gigantic UC Davis gap for his part’s closing trick. Not since Pat Duffy had such a talent been kept secret from the majority of the world, and people immediately started clamoring to learn about this new superstar. Chris’ story is inspiring: a young buck from a troubled home that is saved by his relentless pursuit of skateboarding. His hard work earned the Am of the Year award from The Skateboard Mag in 2014 and is the only Am to ever get a Battle Commander segment on The Berrics. Chris’ ability to stick the heaviest tricks on the biggest gaps has skyrocketed him to pro status with Plan B, but he’s not in it for the fame. As he told Rolling Stone, “I ride because I’m a way happier person when I skateboard.”
