One of the most common misconceptions about Blake Carpenter is that he skates regular. Blake’s style is so smooth and his switch game is so strong, that it’s an easy mistake to make. His breakout video part in Dekline’s 2014 True Blue ended with a switch 360 flip 5-0 that had had many people wondering if he just hadn’t decided which way he skated yet. The Florida-born ripper has competed in the X-Games, finishing sixth in Austin in 2014 and he is competing in the 2016 Street League Series. He signed on with Nike SB in July of 2015 and dropped another banger part for their SB Chronicles 3 where he further confounded people over his stance when he landed a gigantic switch backside 180 over a railing and a fence. That part was enough to move him to the pro ranks of the Toy Machine team a few months later. No matter which way Blake Carpenter ends up skating, he always puts his best foot forward.
