You know what’s great about coming to stuff like this? It’s that people are here. Not just any people though, but people like Billy Rohan. Here’s here taking a break from doing his skateboard gym class thing in New York City. Everybody used to think Billy was crazy, but now we know that he was an eccentric visionary all along. He says he’s working on putting together a national program that will help provide free tuition at participating universities for skateboarders willing to set up skate programs at high schools in their areas. Crazy right?
I also bumped into Carnie last night in the hotel lobby. He’s here?! Yes he is, as a Skateboard Ambassador for some sort of Olympic committee type of dealio. Try figuring that one out while you wait for him to write a Hunter S. Thomson like story about Fear And Loathing on the Dew Tour.
