Under the Gun: Brandon Dosch
For this installment of Under the Gun, we caught up with BMX dirt Dew Cup champ Brandon Dosch to have him explain the meaning behind the classic car he has tattoed on his arm.
The car is a ’55 Chevy Bel Air and that is the car that my grandpa had when he was in high school. Him and my grandma used to go out and race on weekends and just have a bunch of fun driving fast in Michigan.
My grandfather has done a lot in my life. It was me and him when I got into BMX racing. We traveled every summer to every national together. I wouldn’t be where I’m at without the guy.
I got the car done over last winter. That was the main project I wanted to do and I was really happy with the way the artist did it. Over time I just ended up filling my arm up. Everything has an old school traditional vibe to it. I did all black and grey with a little bit of red. It just represents my life, family and values.
