Tickets on Sale for Dew Tour stops in Portland and Salt Lake

The Dew Tour is returning to Portland in August and Salt Lake City in September and tickets are now on sale for both events.

The Wendy’s Invitational is returning to Portland, Oregon for an astonishing sixth year in a row, and the event takes place August 12-15 at Portland’s Rose Quarter. Skate and BMX competitions will reunite for the first time in the 2010 season at the Wendy’s Invitational, and a special FMX appearance will be thrown into the mix. The midway point of the season goes a long way in determining who’s going to end up with the Dew Cup at the end of the year, and now is the time to buy your tickets to see what’s going to happen at the third stop of the Dew Tour.

After that, the Dew Tour is hitting up Salt Lake City for the fourth year in a row for the Toyota Challenge and there’s four straight days of over-the-top action when the Dew Tour descends upon the EnergySolutions Arena, Sept. 16-19.

These events are your chance to see Ryan Sheckler, P-Rod, Dave Mirra and about 150 other top action sports athletes up close and personal. Tickets start at $15, and with premium tickets (that guarantee the BEST seats in the house) and family four-pack deals, there’s sure to be a ticket that has your name on it.

Last year’s Wendy’s Invitational marked the first time Garrett Reynolds ascended to the top of the podium and won an event title. The stop also included Scotty Cranmer’s triumphant return to Dew Tour finals – when he took third… in the BMX dirt finals of all places. With other winners that included PLG, Chaz Ortiz and Ryan Nyquist, Portland’s Rose Quarter always hosts some of the season’s best competitions.

At last year’s stop in SLC, Rodolfo Ramos won the first Dew Tour event of his career and Daniel Dhers returned to top form and claimed the event title over up-and-comers Garrett Reynolds and Brett Banasiewicz. Jamie Bestwick claimed the victory at the Toyota Challenge for the FIFTH consecutive year, Bucky Lasek just barely edged Andy Mac en route to his third Dew Cup and of course, Ryan Nyquist did what he does best in front of a standing room only crowd.

Freestyle motocross will be part of the action in Salt Lake City, with the best names in the biz showcasing the hottest tricks in the sport. Expect to see Cliffhangers, Superman seat grabs, and maybe even the Kiss of Death from the likes of Adam Jones, Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, Mike Mason and Nate Adams.

Make sure you don’t miss any of this year’s action in Portland or Salt Lake – whether it’s the competitions or the concerts featuring co-headliners Neon Trees and Paper Tongues.
