Shaun White, Jiayu Liu Take Top Spots at Park City Grand Prix

Shaun White took home another first place finish today at the Park City, Utah superpipe event as part of the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix. Follow a wipeout that resulted in a face plant for White, he returned to the top for a final drop where he regained his iconic control and rode out of a nearly perfect run scoring him the day’s highest score of 97.25. On the women’s side of things it was Jiayu Liu that took top honors with a final score of 82.00. In addition to the day’s winners being announced, Luke Mitrani and Arielle Gold were named the title takers for the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix halfpipe series.
