Russ Henshaw Does it Again in Ski Slope Prelims

After coming out on top with the lead in Open Qualifiers, Australia’s Russ Henshaw kept his momentum going throughought today’s freeski slopestyle prelims and finished first. Breck’s bluebird skies proved to be a great complement to the action out on the slopes. Henshaw earned his first place score of 90.33 with huge amplitude and back-to-back tricks. Sammy Carlson finished second and Alexis Godbout was third.

The top 9 finishers will advance to Sunday’s Final joining 2009-10 Dew Cup Champion Andreas Håtveit  along with Bobby Brown and Tom Wallisch who finished second and third respectively on the 2009-10 Tour. Sunday’s Freeski Slopestyle Finals will be LIVE on NBC from 4pm to 6pm EST .
