Picture This: Gus Kenworthy
Picture This is an Alli feature designed to give you a peek into the lives of today’s top action sports athletes. For this installment, we sent freeskier Gus Kenworthy a list of things to take pictures of with his camera and here’s what he sent back, complete with thoughts on each shot.
Portrait with a friend: I’m on the left, looking suave in the black glasses. My roommate and teen heartthrob, Bobby Brown, is accompanying me to the right. Ladies, look out! Hahahaha
Contents of your fridge: General consensus is that we desperately need to go grocery shopping.
Your pet: Meet Mac! I got him from the pound for my 10th birthday. He’s the man! As far as generic dog names go though, I was 10, give me a break.
Any random photo: My little sister Lana with our other dog Max. I had no part in naming him, I swear.
Meal that you ate that day: Who doesn’t love sushi?!
Contents of your backpack: It’s important to make sure that you’ve got everything you need when you’re traveling. My backpack is filled with my laptop, iPod, headphones, little portable hard drive, my passport, a checkbook, boarding passes, a good book to read, a pen for the in-flight magazine crossword puzzles, and stickers to tag stuff everywhere that you go!
A room in your house: This is my bedroom in our condo in Breckenridge. We had just moved in about a month before I shot this, so excuse the bare walls!
Life on the Road: Throughout the year I spend more time in hotels, airplanes, and on the road than I do at home. I literally live out of a suitcase.
