NBC SPORTS GROUP KICKS OFF 2013 DEW TOUR WITH COVERAGE OF THE DEW TOUR BEACH CHAMPIONSHIPS

30 Hours of Multi-Platform Coverage across NBC, NBC Sports Network, NBC Sports Live Extra and Dew Tour Live

Live Television Coverage Begins Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on NBC

NBC Sports Group and Alli Sports kick off the 2013 Dew Tour with more than 30 hours of coverage of the Dew Tour Beach Championships on NBC, NBC Sports Network, NBC Sports Live Extra and Dew Tour Live on DewTour.com. Live coverage begins Saturday, June 22, at 4 p.m. ET on NBC.

Hosted by Todd Harris, the Dew Tour Beach Championships will feature some of the world’s best action sports athletes, including Pedro Barros, Bucky Lasek, Steve McCann, Mitchie Brusco and Scotty Cranmer competing for prize money and the Dew Cup. Harris will be joined by Carolyn Manno (reporter), Jamie Bestwick (analyst), Chris Miller (analyst), Paul Zitzer (analyst), Ryan Nyquist (analyst) and Todd Richards (analyst).

The action-packed weekend in Ocean City, Md., will feature Skate Vert, Skate Bowl and Skate Legends Bowl, BMX Park, BMX Vert, BMX Flatland. The Dew Tour will also debut two new disciplines, BMX Street Session and Skate Street Session, in which top skate and BMX Street competitors will hit a 10-stair rail and hubba set-up on the beach, for a jam format contest.

NBC Sports Live Extra – the NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets — will live stream all of NBC, NBC Sports Network and additional off-broadcast coverage.
