My Five: Wake Crew 1

My Five is a new Alli feature where we ask the same five questions to five different athletes and compile all the crazy answers for your reading pleasure. For this installment, we talked to wakeboarders J.D. Webb, Aaron Rathy, Shaun Murray, Bob Soven and Collin Harrington.

Question 1: What move were you trying the last time you had to go the hospital?

J.D. Webb: Hasn’t been for wakeboarding (knock on wood). But the last time was for an infection in my neck. It made me look like I gained 20 pounds in my face. Total bobble head.

Aaron Rathy: Just a rail jib and I fell out of a short landing pool at the Kentucky Boat Show in 2008. Separated shoulder. 

Shaun Murray: Wrapped KGB 540 at the Acworth, GA Pro Tour stop in 2007.

Bob Soven: I broke my arm on a PWC airing off this massive wave. 

Collin Harrington: Toeside backside 540 off the double up. 

 

Question 2: Who’s your favorite dead celebrity? 

J.D. Webb: Chris Farley 

Aaron Rathy: Michael Jackson

Shaun Murray: Jesus

Bob Soven: Anna Nicole Smith

Collin Harrington: Jim Morrison

 

Question 3: What’s the one thing you can’t live without? 

J.D. Webb: Technology 

Aaron Rathy: My computer

Shaun Murray: My family. Then maybe Cheez-Its.

Bob Soven: Romantic novels.

Collin Harrington: Coffee

 

Question 4: Who do people say you look like? 

J.D. Webb: My mom. 

Aaron Rathy: I don’t know, but I used Chad Sharpe’s I.D. a bunch before I was 21.

Shaun Murray: My dad.

Bob Soven: A Brad Pitt / Jay-Z hybrid.

Collin Harrington: The Hanson Brothers (when my hair is long. Mmm bop!)

 

Question 5: Florida or Cali? 

J.D. Webb: Florida 

Aaron Rathy: Florida

Shaun Murray: If Cali wasn’t as crowded and expensive I’d say Cali.

Bob Soven: Florida

Collin Harrington: Florida
