My Five: Skate Crew 1

My Five is a new Alli feature where we ask the same five questions to five different athletes and compile all the crazy answers for your reading pleasure. For this installment, we talked to skaters Tyler Hendley, Chris Cole, Fabrizio Santos, Neal Hendrix and Jordan Hoffart.

Question 1: What trick were you trying the last time you had to go the hospital?

Tyler Hendley: Boardsliding an 8-stair rail I rolled and broke my foot, ha ha!

Chris Cole: A back tail to forearm on some stairs.

Fabrizio Santos: Kickflip indy on vert. Broke my wrist.

Neal Hendrix: January 2009, Indy 540 to knee blow out.

Jordan Hoffart: Backside flip over a rail. Snapped her pretty good. Vertical fracture of the tibia.

 

Question 2: Who’s your favorite dead celebrity?

Tyler Hendley: Michael Jackson.

Chris Cole: Freddie Mercury. Dimebag Darrell.

Fabrizio Santos: Michael Jackson, Gangster (Guru), James Brown, Notorious B.I.G., 2pac, Big Pan, Old Dirty Bastard (ODB), Left Eye, Big L, Eazy-Z, Marvin Gaye, Sabotage Brazilian hip hop/Rap, Ray Charles… Last but not least! Bob Marley.

Neal Hendrix: Tim Brauch.

Jordan Hoffart: Johnny Cash or Chris Farley

 

Question 3: What’s the one thing you can’t live without?

Tyler Hendley: Family and Taco Bell.

Chris Cole: Music, laughter, my family, skateboarding.

Fabrizio Santos: My daughters.

Neal Hendrix: Friends.

Jordan Hoffart: Call me needy but I’m pretty sure water is a necessity. 

 

Question 4: Who do people say you look like?

Tyler Hendley: I’ll just go with Brad Pitt ha ha.

Chris Cole: They don’t. When I was younger I would get David Duchovny, not anymore.

Fabrizio Santos: Dude! People come up to me and ask if I’m Nyjah Huston. Ha ha. I say, “No man, I’m Bob Marley.”

Neal Hendrix: Billy Rohan and/or Dave Metty.

Jordan Hoffart: Mark Wahlberg or Heath Ledger.

 

Question 5: Hotel or campground

Tyler Hendley: Well I’m from OC, so hotel, but my family’s from North Carolina so campground. Ha, maybe a hotel on a campground.

Chris Cole: Hotel for normal, campground for my son and I.

Fabrizio Santos: Campground.

Neal Hendrix: Hotel for sure.

Jordan Hoffart: Friend’s house.
